No Desert Data Center Coalition is partnering with Freewave for a 2-day extravaganza featuring direct action & rhythm workshops, anti-repression training, water celebrations and a cookout! Learn about strategies & tactics from other movements to defend land & water from development & extraction.
We hope this fun weekend will be informative and inspiring, so please share widely with your activist and activism-curious friends and family.
Anti-Repression & Movement Defense 2-4pm
Every strong resistance movement will face government repression. Join a radical lawyer from People’s Law Collective to learn about the many tools to defend ourselves and each other as we continue to fight back.
Keep the Beat 4-5pm
Practice using rhythm effectively to motivate & move each other in a fun, musical workshop led by members of the Backup Brass Band!
Loud & Persistent 5-6pm
A visiting member of Stop the Data Center in Ypsilanti, MI will share tactics they are using to pressure key players in a proposed data center development.
Closing Discussion 6-7pm
