Join us at First Christian Church from 2-6pm then at Catalina Park 6:30-9pm.\n\n\n\nNo Desert Data Center Coalition is partnering with Freewave for a 2-day extravaganza featuring direct action & rhythm workshops\, anti-repression training\, water celebrations and a cookout! Learn about strategies & tactics from other movements to defend land & water from development & extraction. \n\n\n\nWe hope this fun weekend will be informative and inspiring\, so please share widely with your activist and activism-curious friends and family. \n\n\n\nDirect Action Training @ First Christian Church 2-6pm\n\n\n\n\n\nWondering how can we use more people power to fight against development projects that harm our communities? \n\n\n\nLearn the strategies\, tactics\, and organizational forms used in eco-defense movements over the past several decades. \n\n\n\nChildcare is available. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWater Celebration @ Catalina Park 6:30-9pm\n\n\n\nJoin us for a cookout with food and water games! Bring your suit & towel for the splash pad (open until sunset).  \n\n\n\nWondering how can we improve water access with mutual aid?  \n\n\n\nLearn from local organizations like Humane Borders\, Gator-Aid\, and Community Care Tucson. Discuss\, honor\, and celebrate the significance of water to our desert and consider our shared struggle.

Join a radical lawyer from People’s Law Collective to learn about the many tools to defend ourselves and each other as we continue to fight back. \n\n\n\nKeep the Beat 4-5pm\n\n\n\nPractice using rhythm effectively to motivate & move each other in a fun\, musical workshop led by members of the Backup Brass Band! \n\n\n\nLoud & Persistent 5-6pm\n\n\n\nA visiting member of Stop the Data Center in Ypsilanti\, MI will share tactics they are using to pressure key players in a proposed data center development. \n\n\n\nClosing Discussion 6-7pm\n\n\n\nHow will we carry these new skills & strategies forward into our work? \n\n\n\nDinner Together 7-8pm\n\n\n\nYum!
