The City of Tucson invites community members to participate in public meetings to provide input on proposed new regulations for large-scale data centers. These meetings are intended to present considerations for a potential amendment to the Unified Development Code (UDC) to establish standards and regulations for this land use.

Four public meetings will be offered for the community to learn more about the proposed regulatory framework and share feedback.

Registration and Informal Networking
Attendees are invited to visit topical information stations and engage in informal discussions with City staff.

6:30 – 7:25 p.m.
Plenary Session: Proposed Regulatory Framework Presentation
The session will include a welcome, project overview, and topic-by-topic presentations on the proposed code amendment, with survey feedback collected after each topic:

  • Large-Scale Data Center Definition and Approval Process
  • Energy Consumption and Water Use
  • Proposed Setback Requirements
  • Design Standards, Open Space, Landscaping, and Screening Requirements
  • Noise Attenuation and Generator Use

7:25 – 8:00 p.m.

Open House and Networking
Attendees may visit topical information stations for additional questions and informal conversations with City staff.
